TMART.COM 78 Color Palette Review

The good ole folks over at TMART.COM contacted me last month to do a review of some of their beauty products.  I immediately decided that I would use my $15 stipend to purchase a palette I could give away to one lucky reader/viewer :).

Now to be fair, I did open this giveaway up to my youtube subbies, too, but there is plenty of opportunity for one of my readers here to also cash in on the opportunity to win! But before we get into the giveaway rules and such, let’s go right into the review. I’ll do a separate post with the giveaway details to be posted tomorrow. Stay Tuned!

TMART.COM 78 Color Professional Eyeshadow Palette

Overall I’d say this is a good palette for a beginner. If you are accustomed to let’s say, Mac quality shadows, you’ll be disappointed. However, if you are a newbie I say go for it. Use a shadow primer like this one by E.L.F. to  give the shadows lasting power/ a color boost and I think you’ll be happy.

Someone on youtube pointed out that this palette, along with many of the other big palettes sold by companies like BH Cosmetics and Coastal scents are also being sold by Chinese sellers on Ebay without the label. I’ve found, however that the ebay prices weren’t any better than the tmart.com prices. Furthermore, Tmart ships really quickly, whereas everything I’ve ever purchased from a Chinese seller on ebay has taken up to three weeks to arrive at my door. Tmart’s palette arrived within 2-3 days.
I will also say that I compared this palette to the shadows in my Shany Cosmetics Palette, and without primer, the TMART palette didn’t compare as the Shany palette’s colors definitely rival MAC shadows.  Still, if you’re looking for some decent quality matte shadows and want to spent about $13 for 78 colors (including shipping), TMART is the way to go.
