#AmySchumerGottaGoParty: Black Twitter Goes IN Over Beyonce “Formation” Paraody
Comedienne Amy Schumer, and actress Goldie Hawn, God Bless them, thought it would be a good idea to parody Beyoncé’s “Formation.”

The problem? Formation isn’t just any popular music video. It is an unapologetic ode to Blackness, with too many Black cultural references to count, and a number of poignant scenes all speaking to the racial climate today.
Here’s one I won’t soon forget:
Now it really begs the question: Why this song, Amy and Goldie? Why when racial tension is at an all time high, and when Black people are tired of being profiled, judged, and killed, did you see fit to take the one song many of us view as a proclamation of our beautiful black selves, and turn it into a lame a$$ joke?
Okay, that may be a little harsh, given that she clearly had a black friend co-signing on this debacle. Indeed, Wanda Sykes was all up and in the video:
