You Can Look Like This Melanated Bronze Goddess Using Drugstore Makeup #HOWSWAY?!

When I came across the thumbnail for BeautifulByBemi’s video entitled BROWN CHOCOLATE INSPIRED MAKEUP LOOK I was stricken with awe. Sweet Black baby Jesus ole girl is a stunner! Not only is this British beauty melanated magic personified, she created a perfect everyday glam look on the cheap!

The only item she used that was on the expensive side is her foundation. I always suggest that women invest in foundation and leave the rest to your wallet. Bemi did exactly that.

She found her perfect match in Urban Decay’s All Nighter Foundation ($40) in the shade 12. Revlon Colorstay (Purchase HERE) and Maybelline Fit Me Foundation (Purchase HERE), however,  are both full coverage foundations that can be purchased in the drugstore.

Everything else in her tutorial was affordable. Sleek, Black Opal, and Maybelline are among the brands Bemi goes to for her everyday beat. Below are some of the products she used to achieve this chocolate sensation.

NYX Conceal, Contour & Correct Palette ($11.99)- Buy it HERE

LA Girl PRO Concealer ($5.00) Purchase HERE

Black Opal Finishing Powder ($9.25). Purchase HERE

LA Girl Pro HD Pressed Powder – Cocoa ($5.96). Buy it HERE.

Sleek Makeup Eyebrow Stylist ($ 9.99) Buy it HERE.

Maybelline Precise Black Liner ($5.99). Buy it HERE.

Sleek Blush ($5.99). Purchase HERE.

NYX Liquid Suede Lipstick ($6.99) . Purchase HERE, and see How the colors look on dark skin HERE:

Of course, there are the usual suspects from Mac included in her look, but the bulk of her products are incredibly affordable. Since Bemi is a MUA, she gets a discount on brands like Mac, so she’s not breaking the bank to look amazing. Now that you have the list of products, check out how Bemi slayed her mug in her makeup tutorial below.

I’m a 30-something, fun loving blogger who enjoys makeup, plus size fashion, and all things girly, glam, and fabulous! I am a naturalista as well as an advocate for paleo eating (AIP). While much of my focus is on beauty, I will be chronicling my weight loss and diet, as well as my natural hair journey. I hope that I can inspire women to give themselves some TLC. Life is so fleeting. We have to remember to take time to enjoy it.
