If You Haven’t Eaten At This Mexican Restaurant You Are Not Living Life

Just to keep it 100% Andre and I were comped this meal, however, I was not required to post this review and all thoughts and opinions expressed are  my own.

So like 6 months ago, I was contacted by Besito Mexican and offered this amazing opportunity to try out their restaurant in Burlington, MA.  Since I do not cook (Andre is a culinary school graduate and cooks all of our meals), I am always game to go to a restaurant. My mom agreed to watch JB for us, so it was a much needed date.

When we arrived it was still pretty warm and sunny outside, so we opted for outdoor seating and started with tortilla and salsa.

Then we moved right on into ordering as much food as we could. LOL! We were determined to have leftovers and leftovers we had, folks. Yes indeed we did!

After our chips, we started with appetizers:

First up:

Stuffed Peppers

I’ve never done  a restaurant review, and this review is 6 months old, however, trust me when I tell you the food at this place is bomb. Like, who goes to a restaurant one time and legit can’t stop thinking about the food 6 months later!? Your girl right here. That’s who.

Next up:

Short Ribs

I have never, ever, in all my life, had ribs like The Besito Mexican short ribs. Like, the meat would-not-stay-on-the-bone. Just the juciest and the most tender-loving ribs in the world.

Just so you know, none of these photos have been edited. This is legit how the food arrives, and yes, it looks just as good as it tastes. Now, I can’t confirm that these ribs are currently on the menu, so call ahead to make sure.

Flautas de Pollo

Crispy chicken tacos, queso fresco, crema, salsa verde cruda, salsa de guajiro, odios, cilantro

Next Up:

Salmon Manchamanteles

Roasted salmon, plantains, pineapple pico de gallo, mole manchamanteles, crema

Organic Casa Noble Blanco Tequila, Cointreau, fresh watermelon, agave nectar, fresh squeezed lime, chile poblano salt rim

All in all? I give Besito Mexican an A++++. We’re planning a date this weekend.
