Here’s Why Twitter Is Dragging THE HELL Out of The New Miss USA [VIDEO]

While many of us are still gushing over DeShauna Barber’s gorgeous fro worn during last night’s ceremony (read about it HERE), others are still scratching their heads at this year’s winner’s statements regarding healthcare.  Kara McCullough, the winner of the 2017 Miss USA pageant, is a physical scientist at the United States Nuclear Regulatory Commission. During the contest, she was asked if  “affordable health care for all US citizens is a right or a privilege.”
This was her response:
“I’m definitely going to say it’s a privilege,” the 25-year-old said. “As a government employee, I am granted health care and I see first-hand that for one to have health care, you have to have jobs…So therefore, we need to continue to cultivate this environment that we’re given the opportunity to have health care as well as jobs to all American citizens worldwide”
Watch her in action here:

These are some of the responses:

She also stated that she is not a feminist, but prefers to be called an equalist.

The definition of feminism reads:

the advocacy of women’s rights on the basis of the equality of the sexes.
