KevOnStage Just Read The HELL Out Of A Viewer Who Tried To Shame Him For Saying “Black Women Are God’s Gift.”

If you aren’t familiar with internet comedian KevOnStage, get familiar. He is one of the few social media comedians who doesn’t rely on mocking women to get a few laughs.  He’s relatively wholesome, too, but funny as hell.

Recently, Kev found himself in a bit of hot water with one viewer. In one of his videos, Kev asserted that “Black Women are God’s gift.” A fairly honest, and straightforward assertion, if you ask me, and one that shouldn’t stir up any controversy. One viewer, however, took offense to Kev’s mention of race and took him to task for the statement.

Kev, however, didn’t take the comment lying down and issued this clapback, and I am so here for it. Watch below:

Yasss, Kevin Yass!! We need more black men like this in our corner. Yasss!

Thank you so much Kevin! I am so glad you mentioned Henrietta Lacks. That’s story still fascinates me to this day. Thank you for standing up for what you believe in. Thank you Lisa for writing to article. Thank you, thank you, thank you! God Bless!

  2. Yes & Thank you. They want to silence the black man who will stand up for black women but will she write to rapper he referred to and ask him something?

  3. Jennifer A Thompson says:

Henrietta Lacks is a great example of a Black woman who has served the world in ways many others have not. I just wanted to add that countless Black women, unnamed and unidentified, have contributed to many areas of medicine, politics, and law, and aren’t respected because of it. If they aren’t raising white babies, preparing food for whites to eat, doing laundry of white folks, counting green money in white banks, or being raped by their white husabs, there is just no respect for her. Thanks for this post.

Your mother, mother-in-law, aunt, sisters (family); Henrietta Lacks; chocolate ice cream; and the Black women in general were all perfect examples to utilize to put that racist prick in his place. I hate when people say color doesn’t matter; because if it didn’t, their Black behinds wouldn’t be here. Love you, your speech, and what you stand for…keep supporting your Black Queens…we need you my brother!

For the record, I did not know you, but this speech spoke volume…you will forever be my favorite comedian/person. I’m going to find your shows and be your No. 1 Fan!!!

I truly believe everyone should uplift their culture! Yes there are good and bad of EVERY CULTURE. So lift up the Men, Women, boys and girls or your culture. So they can feel better which most times makes them do better!

  10. Miss Champagne B says:

It’s funny how uplifting one’s own race is seen as racism. I guess when you get use to putting people down you would get offended if they want to build themselves back up. Smh

  11. I luv it. Signed, A Black Woman. ?

  12. ??????? Yasssssss!! Total Mic drop. Nothing else needs to be said. (That struggle ass rapper mama should be ashamed and embarrassed by the words that came out his mouth. Yeah, I said it.)

  13. Kevonstage, you speak truth! I’m a white guy, and I personally don’t see race as an issue, though, many can’t see past it. BTW, your wife is SMOKIN’! Anyway, I totally agree with your assessment of how culture and society view women of color. Personally, I think ALL women are beautiful, because they are women. Not sure where I was going with this, but, long story short, word!

  20. Judith Brock says:

Thank you for recognizing us black women. Caucasian women have always been put on a pedestal. Racism is a subject to keep in the limelight. You , Caucasians have made sure that keeping you in the limelight is meant to whitewash the rest of us into believing that you are superior. We are so pass that. When you had to go to work, like us black women, and struggle to pay bills and raise the children. You were knocked off of that pedestal. We have had to work from slavery days up until now to either help our husbands or be the bread winner. So, welcome to this Reality show.
