Product Review: Freeman Clay and Avocado Mask

Clask+Mask

Tara from Freeman Beauty sent me this product to review about a month ago, and as usual, I’m behind in posting my review. That aside, go buy this clay mask. It’s cheap. It’s fantastic. PERIOD!!

Here’s my story when it comes to my skin:
Oily, huge pores,  hyperpigmentation, and acne prone. I’ve used prescription meds, over the counter stuff, and nothing has ever really done the job completely. I’m also pretty lazy when it comes to my face, so in all fairness,  I’m not the best tester when it comes to skin care products, HOWEVER, I’ve been using this mask now for about a month and I have not ONE complaint.

Here’s what Freeman says about the Avocado an Oatmeal Clay Mask:
This is the perfect mask for oily skin types.  Oatmeal is helpful in removing dead skin cells and reducing irritation.  Oats are also packed with natural cleansers that gently purge pores of excess oils.  Avocado is an excellent moisturizing agent that is very similar to the oil naturally produced in human skin.  Clay is rich in healthy enzymes that work to stimulate blood circulation and absorb oils.  Clay is also known to strengthen and tone connective tissues.  The balance of ingredients leaves your skin Feeling Beautiful, fresh, tight, and soft.

In the past, I’ve been a fan of Queen Helene’s Mint Julep, but for some reason, this clay mask does what I need it to do in very little time. In the past month, I’ve used it in two ways:

  1.  Right before applying my makeup and after washing my face. Like I mentioned, my skin is a grease magnet, but applying this mask before makeup application helps to keep my makeup looking fresh all day. It really helps to mattify the skin.  L.O.V.E.
  2.  Overnight. If I have a pimple or just icky looking skin, I shellac this stuff all over my face (it dries nicely and manages to not get on my sheets), and voila the next day redness, irritation, inflamed pimples are all subdued. Just like that.

Oh, and did I mention this stuff is C.H.E.A.P? Get to your local drugstore or pharmacy and give it a shot. Feel free to come back and call me a big fat liar if you hate it.

Xoxo,
