Maybelline Color Tattoos Review: LOVE THEM

I cannot TELL you how great it feels to be back in the world of making YouTube videos and blogging.  I was sick for what felt like ages!! But, your girl is back in the game and excited to kick off the new year with tons of review, tips, tricks, and flashes of fashion here and there.

First up for the year is a Maybelline Color Tattoos review..

If the tittle of this post wasn’t enough, you should now have FULL confidence in the fact that I L.O.V.E. these 24 hour-wear eye shadows.

Usually companies will advertise a whole lotta hoopla about a product to get you on board, but Maybelline’s description of these shadows actually hits the nail on the head:

Dare to wear our longest-lasting shadow.
Our ink technology creates super-saturated color.
Cream gel smoothes on for vibrant color that does not fade.

PREACH MAYBELLINE. P-R-E-A-C-H.  Ladies and gents if you want an eyeshadow that is easy to put on (I use my finger), and will literally stay on your lids until you scrub off with a makeup removing wipe, look no further. Take a look at some of the lovely colors from the standard line:

If those colors weren’t lovely enough, Maybelline has started putting out new collections seemingly every season. Currently in stores is the Metal Collection:

I’ve swatched several of my favorite shades from this collection, the fall collection, and the standard line below:

Please try to excuse my hairy arms. I was born that way.

Tip: If you fall in love with a color from any of the seasonal collections buy more than one. Although I’m reading that the metal collection will become a part of the standard line, I doubt it it. All the past collections have been Limited Edition, so it stands to reason once these sell out of stores they’ll be gone. My point? Last week I had to spend $11 on Ebay to  repurchase ‘Gold Shimmer’( yes, it’s that serious) a color from the fall collection. Double what I paid for it when I purchased Gold Shimmer at Target for $4.99 ($5.99 minus a $1 coupon) last October.

In any event, I’ve created some really fun looks with these shadows. Take a look-see:
