What to Wear to a Spring Wedding
I want to apologize for kind of slacking off for the last week. Sometimes being a full-time working mom gets the better of me, and when I feel overwhelmed I just shut it all off. Jackson Blaise is teething, too, so my life right now is not a whole lot of fun. I spent the last week really thinking about the direction of this blog and working on getting my mojo back. One of my college friends always posts these amazingly inspirational pictures on her timeline, so I figured I’d share a few of the pictures that have been helping me to find my way:
Hopefully these words will be a little bit of a pick-me-up for those of you who may also be waiting for a change. As my Mayma says, “Better days are coming. Never mind, never mind.”
Now, onto today’s post, shall we? I skipped out on hosting my own link up this week, so that I could co-host Stylish Tuesday with the lovely Paige of http://www.lifesapartydli.blogspot.com/. Make sure you follow her blog and join our link up party below!
Since Spring Wedding Season is in full force, I figured I’d show you all what to wear to a spring wedding. Fit and Flare dresses are all the rage this season, so when I spotted this one on the Sheinside, website I had to have it. I’m usually not huge on wearing patterns but I couldn’t pass this one up.

Hey, Boo! My name is Lisa and you’ve stumbled upon my own little corner of the world. I’m a 30 something-year-old writer/mother/wife who happens to love lipstick, high heels, blackness, and the truth. You’ll find a mix of everything on this site, so I won’t bore you by trying to define this space. I hope you stay awhile!
I’m so in love with your Sheinside dress Lisa….the prints are so fun & the shape is to die for!
Rebecca

OMG….you look so frieking cute. Love the way you styled this dress…kept it simple to allow the gorgeous colors to be the focal point! So, how about we’re twinises today because I am wearing the same exact dress, which will be on the blog later this week..too frieking funny! Great Fashion Minds. Side Bar: So this curly bob you’ve been rocking is so making me want to cut my hair again..I am strongly considering it…..love it on you!
Thanks, Roni!! I actually want to dye my hair now..ready for a change! And let me know when you post your outfit! I’ll share the link on my blog so people can see how you styled it.

Thank you so much!! xoxo
I have the same JCrew Dress the other blogger Paige is wearing. Loving the prints on both of you! Prints are always tricky for me; I rather have a print on the bottom half rather than on the top. If I won the ASOS giftcard, I would purchase an open back shirt and white dress!
Kia
Thanks, Kia! Good luck! xo
