Orange Lipstick On Dark Skin
Okay, I admit it. I’m a sucker for lipstick. I love it. In fact, I’d even venture as far as to say I’m obsessed. Fine, are you happy now? I’m obsessed. Matte finish, cream finish, glossy, you name it. I love it. I’d pretty much wear any color on the planet. And right now, I’m all about orange.
I think orange lipsticks can work year round, especially if you’re a girl who likes to go bold. That being said, toning down an orange lippie can be done fairly easily. For women of color, I would suggest using a brown lipliner in your skin shade (Cork or Chestnut in Mac work nicely for me), or a red lip liner (Mac’s Cherry is divine). Red liners can warm up an orange lipstick so it blends better. Personally, I prefer more reddish orange shades. Here are a few of my favorite orange lip sticks on dark skin.
