Mixing Prints: Plaid + Leopard Print

Mixing  Prints: Plaid + Leopard Print

The weather in the Northeast has been beyond beyond snowy, we’re talking 4 feet on the ground! So I’m going through old photos to bring you looks you’ve never seen.  We’re not talking the pretty gentle snow you saw in the video below. We’re talking that MEAN snow.

And so, the look below is more fall, than winter, but I know you’ll forgive me! Besides, I know many of you have gentle winters, so this mixing prints look may be something you can wear now.

Mixing Prints, especially plaid and leopard print happens to be one of my favorite trends. It instantly ups your swag factor because you’ll be doing something that not everyone else is doing. Yes, we fashion bloggers do it, but in the real world it really helps you to stand out.

And it doesn’t have to be expensive, either. My entire outfit is from Old Navy, minus the shoes which I purchased from Forever21 on clearance 3 or so years ago. I swiped the purse from my sister :-).

I love the look and i think the solid colored sweater and denim helped the mix prints look perfect even more. We were having the same snow situation last week but i am so glad it’s much better now.
