Fall Sweater Outfit
Here’s the thing about fashion blogging: for a lot of us, it’s a creative outlet. A place where we can photograph and share outfits we may not have the opportunity to wear in real life. Remember my hot pink tulle skirt? Yeah, well, I love that skirt, but where oh where can I actually wear her? That being said, I’ve decided to really focus on more wearable looks.
This fall sweater outfit is both chic, pulled-together, AND comfortable. Even the heels!
So yes, I am a blogger, but I’m also a mom and an entrepreneur so I generally need outfits that I can throw on quickly without tons of thought. It literally took me 5 minutes to pull this outfit together. Thankfully, this chunky sweater from Sears was big enough to hide the food stain JB left on my shirt! #motherhood

Hey, Boo! My name is Lisa and you’ve stumbled upon my own little corner of the world. I’m a 30 something-year-old writer/mother/wife who happens to love lipstick, high heels, blackness, and the truth. You’ll find a mix of everything on this site, so I won’t bore you by trying to define this space. I hope you stay awhile!
Hi Lisa,
This relaxed fit is the perfect go to for the fall! I reside in Arizona, so throwing on a cardigan over a tee is almost an every day look for me. A nice blazer does the job, also. Casual and chic. I’m new to your blog (by way of Instagram) and I love your style. Keep inspiring us!
Thanks, Joia! Omg I didn’t think of a blazer over a T…that’ll be my next look! Thank you for the idea! xo
Love it! I have an almost identical black sweater and have been clueless on how to style it. Thanks for the idea 🙂
You’re so welcome Britney!
I am going to try to create more wearable looks as well because honestly a lot of my blog outfits are not practical for my day to day life. I love this relaxed look, the distressed jeans look so comfy and I love the cozy feel of the jacket.

Right?? I like to be creative, but sometimes even I’m like, “too much lisa” lol
Exactly my sentiments. I dress for real life, not the blog.
Love this look! It’s no fuss, but chic. What lip color are you wearing? Great color!
i’m wearing colored raine lipstick in Cherry Blossom with Mac’s Night Moth LINER.
