Amlactin Review + Giveaway
I have to tell you guys about the skincare product line I’ve been using for the last few weeks to prep my skin for the glory days of summer, Amlactin.
I don’t know about you, but my skin takes a major hit in the colder months. We’re talking dry, scaly, icky skin. I’m always on the hunt for something that will keep my skin hydrated without being greasy or taking forever to penetrate the skin. So when the folks over at Amlactin contacted me to try their products, I was all game.
My three main areas of concern include my back, my hands, and my feet. My body, too, of course, but those are my most dry regions. But after about three weeks of use, I can sincerely tell you that I have new skin and here’s why:
The AmLactin Solution: AmLactin moisturizers are highly effective at transforming dry, rough skin into soft, supple, healthy-looking skin. They contain alpha-hydroxy therapy, which gently exfoliates dry, dead skin cells and intensely hydrates. With creamy emollients and rich humectants that help retain the skin’s natural moisture, water is drawn to the skin so it looks and feels soft and smooth.
Amlactin Hydrating Body Cream
Is my go-to for my hands. I keep it right by the skin so it’s applied on wet hands to tap in the moisture. I haven’t had a manicure in weeks and my hands look fantastic.
Amlactin Foot Cream
I apply the foot cream at night, throw on my fuzzy socks and voila cracked-heeled and ashy footbacks are gone. My husband has also stopped complaining about my winter feet. #winning
Amlactin Restoring Body Lotion
My back, for whatever reason, gets really really dry in the winter, so I’ve been applying the restoring body lotion to my back and it’s stopped me from scratching myself bloody.
Amlactin Moisturizing Body Lotion
This is the perfect daily moisturizer. I apply it all over right when I get out of the shower. It containes 12% lactic acid, which is a naturally occurring humectant for the skin. In other words, it traps in moisture and hangs onto it for dear life. Your skin won’t be sorry for it, either.
It also encourages skin renewal through exfoliation, and like all Amlacin products is fragrance-free and non-greasy.
Amlactin even comes in these cute trial size bottles:

Great products and review!
Thank you!
Hi. I usually mix tea tree oil with olive oil n apply it over my skin during winters. Tea tree oil does wonders for the skin and olive oil helps get rid of the dark circles as well.
I would love to try http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00C1E916C/ref=s9_hps_bw_g194_i3
I try to have a routine but never stay committed to it long enough to see the benefits smh. I was using a moisturizer by Eucerin with alpha hydroxy acid in it but it’s very thick. I’d like to try the AmLactin moisturizing body lotion since you said it’s light and it also has the benefits of the alpha hydroxy acid. Thanks! http://www.amazon.com/AmLactin-12-Moisturizing-Lotion/dp/B000TTPZQ6
you’re so welcome! Yes, this stuff is light and blends right in! Good luck!
Normally I’m prone to using body oils & diy Shea butter creams. This hard water where I live has torn my skin up this winter. The oils can be to much oil at times & my skin absorbs the life out of them! Lol I’d love to use this restoring lotion! http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00BX57IOC/ref=pd_aw_sim_194_1?ie=UTF8&dpID=41SNZP64znL&dpSrc=sims&preST=_AC_UL100_SR100%2C100_&refRID=1APMMSWY5PW0CGEHB16A
