Last week I wrote that one of the ways in which I allow myself to feel more in control of my life is by focusing less on my self and more on others. That’s why I’m putting my money where my mouth is and participating in this year’s Boston Breast Cancer Walk.
The two or 5 mile walk will take place on Sunday, October. Sunday, October 02, 2016 at the DCR Hatch Shell
Registration: 7:30 a.m. and we’ll be starting Start: 8 a.m.
If you’re in the Boston-Area I would LOVE to have you on my team. If you can’t join us, you can help us reach our team goal of $500 by donating whatever you can afford. Every dollar helps!
I have two breast cancer survivor’s in my family so this cause hits close to home. If you’ve ever witnessed a love one suffering from cancer, you know how unforgiving and unrelenting this disease can be. Let’s make a difference by raising funds to support breast cancer sufferers and survivors.
You can join my team OR donate by clicking HERE.
Hope to see you there!
Hey, Boo! My name is Lisa and you’ve stumbled upon my own little corner of the world. I’m a 30 something-year-old writer/mother/wife who happens to love lipstick, high heels, blackness, and the truth. You’ll find a mix of everything on this site, so I won’t bore you by trying to define this space. I hope you stay awhile!
