10 Highlighters That Look Amazing On Black Women
I don’t know about you, but I sure do love a good highlighter. I can’t get enough. What’s more, black women have a unique advantage in that our skin tends to naturally glow, so when we apply a powder or cream highlighter to augment what nature has already given us, it’s a match made in heaven. Which one is your favorite?
Hey, Boo! My name is Lisa and you’ve stumbled upon my own little corner of the world. I’m a 30 something-year-old writer/mother/wife who happens to love lipstick, high heels, blackness, and the truth. You’ll find a mix of everything on this site, so I won’t bore you by trying to define this space. I hope you stay awhile!
It’s a very nice post but I would have loved to see more of a variety, there’s so many other highlighters that are beautiful on brown skin that I have reviewed on my blog, I have reviews & photos of Bobbi Brown Bronze Glow, Tom Ford Stroked, Becca Blushed Copper, Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar Bronze & Glow, Chanel Lucky Strikes, Cover FX Custom Enhancer Drops and quite a few more… Anastasia is okay but too overrated in my opinion.
Thanks for stopping by. The variety was about seeing how these colors worked on different skin tones. Selecting highlighters and then trying to find women of different shades of brown wearing those particular colors would have been an exercise in futility. It would have been a backwards and time consuming way to approach this post. If the interest is there I’ll do another post featuring different highlighters. The challenge is always finding quality imagery wherein the model actually posts the shade and brand of product she is using.
I enjoyed this post. I actually have one of these from Anastasia Beverly Hills. I love how it’s dedicated to women of color, all of these women look stunning. Some of the links were broken though
