This Is How You Take Pleasure In The Simple Things and Live Life To The Fullest

This post is sponsored by Riders® by Lee® , but all thoughts and opinions expressed are my own.

Fall is the season of change. The season for hanging up your spring dresses, and swapping them out for fuzzy sweaters and comfy jeans like the Riders® by Lee® Bounce Back Denim. The season for putting away your strappy sandals in exchange for fun boots and booties. The season for watching the leaves turn into gorgeous and vibrant colors. The season for taking a break from the norm and relishing in all life has to offer.

Life can get a little bit hectic at times, especially when you’re running your own business,  but there’s one thing that always keeps me grounded and it’s my family:how-to-enjoy-life2

With Fall indeed being the season for change, I asked my husband a simple question that prompted me to step away from my computer and direct my focus on what matters the most.

If you could do anything right now, with what we have (meaning financially), what would you do?

His answer was simple: “Spend time with you and Jackson Blaise.” And just like that, I planned a quick family outing for the three of us. how-to-enjoy-life5

Before heading out, and per usual, I spent a little time putting together a stylish, but comfortable outfit. You’re not surprised, are you? My Riders® by Lee® Bounce Back Denim skinnies paired with a simple white T and fall-friendly sweater were the perfect ensemble. As you all know by now I’m all about being stylish on a budget.  My entire outfit, was on trend, comfortable, and affordable. You can even snag these denim skinnies for under $20 at your local Walmart.

For our outing, we decided to visit Nihtila Farm (home to our local pumpkin patch) because JB is obsessed with pumpkins.  While JB and Andre wandered about the Farm looking at the goats, pigs, and chickens, I went out to the pumpkin patch to breath in the outdoors and surprise JB with the best pumpkin I could find.

Unfortunately, the pumpkin pickings were slim (it’s a little late in the season), and it was pretty muddy because of the off and on drizzle, but I seriously had the best time just being outside and feeling the energy that is the Fall season. My Riders® by Lee® bounce back denim skinnies never missed a beat, either. I was slipping and sliding and jumping around, and they managed to move with me every which way.

Who knew spending time on a muddy farm could help me take in the true meaning of Fall?
