Gabrielle Union Launches Her Own Haircare Line

Now the star is taking her love for beauty and hair to the next level by branching into the industry and launching her own hair care line. Union’s hair-care brand, Flawless, features ten products ― all in the affordable price range of $19 – $29 ― and is designed specifically for women with textured hair. It will include shampoos, conditioners, styling aids and treatments. The actress teamed up with the company behind the hair-care brand Macadamia Natural Oil, to develop Flawless.
When asked about stepping into the hair industry, Union says, “I want women with textured hair to have great hair days.”
Union wants to create a brand that embraces everyone with textured hair, no matter what their hairstyle choices are. She told WWD,
“A lot of people like to think if you wear extensions or weaves, you’re full of self-hatred and, if you wear natural hairstyles, your sense of self and your sense of community and culture is at an all-time high. Sometimes that’s the case. Sometimes it’s not,” she said. “I just look at it as each person has their own hair journey, and they’re all amazing, valid, worthwhile and beautiful, no matter what.”
Flawless will drop online on March 1, and will be available for purchase at Ulta stores April 16.
