The creator of the Bachelor franchise, Mike Fleiss, announced yesterday that after 14 years and 33 seasons, there’s finally a black lead on the ABC’s, cult-favorite, dating show The Bachelorette. Her name is Rachel Lindsay, a fan favorite on this season’s Bachelor. She’s so likable, they announced Rachel’s Bachelorette role for the next season, even though this season isn’t finished.
