In case you’ve never heard of it, Primark is a huge discount retailer well known in Europe and headquartered in Dublin, Ireland. The store has started cropping up in the US with two locations in Massachusetts and a location on Staten Island, NY. A new location is slated to open at the South Shore Plaza in Braintree, Massachusetts next month.
Last week I had the pleasure of hosting an in-store fashion party, AND shop like a drunken sailor. I legit lost my mind and bought so much stuff for myself and Jackson-Blaise.
With 4 levels of shopping it’s hard to not lose your mind. The prices, let me tell you, are incredible. Incredible.
The clothing and accessories are beyond cute and trendy. Check out this cute look I put together with top and bottoms from Primark:
And the beauty section is bae.
The home goods section is pretty amazing, too.
Let’s discuss sizing shall, we? You’re going to have to size up. I’m generally a size 2 here in the good ole US, but at Primark I wear a size 6 in jeans and a size 4 in tops. My gorgeous beauty editor, Vicky, also pointed out that the shoes don’t go beyond a size 11 and the clothing stops at a size 16 (which is really a size 12/14 by US standards.) Here’s hoping Primark execs bring about a wider range of options for plus size girls in the near future.
So Boston beauties, have you been to Primark? If so, let us know what you think in the comment section below!
I’m a 30-something, fun loving blogger who enjoys makeup, plus size fashion, and all things girly, glam, and fabulous! I am a naturalista as well as an advocate for paleo eating (AIP). While much of my focus is on beauty, I will be chronicling my weight loss and diet, as well as my natural hair journey. I hope that I can inspire women to give themselves some TLC. Life is so fleeting. We have to remember to take time to enjoy it.
