Khloe Kardashian is catching heat for doing what her family has become infamous for over nearly a decade, co-opting black creativity.
With the latest campaign preview of Good American (June 1st), Khloe’s clothing line with denim and more for the curvaceous body type, she features some bedazzled bodysuits which bare a striking resemblance to Destiney’s work.

As soon as the tweet hit the internet, Destiney immediately responded with the following tweet. A series of tweets soon followed spilling all of the tea.
You can see side by sides of the bodysuit. Left is Khloe’s Bodysuit and on the right is Destiney’s bodysuit.
Destiney also posted photos of custom work she did for Khloe (below) and says she has literal receipts of Khloe purchasing one of everything from her site.
Destiney went on to elaborate as to why she felt the bodysuits were copied and why she was putting Khloe on blast. She wants to help indie designers feel empowered to speak out against celebrities who seek to capitalize off of other’s work simply based off of their fame/relevancy.
DBleudazzle, Destiney Bleu’s clothing line, has outfitted the likes of Beyonce, Serena Williams, Fifth Harmony, Tinashe, Amrezy, as well as all of the Kardashian sisters.
Khloe hasn’t been too vocal about the accusations on her personal social media pages, however a rep at Good American has issued the following statement via TooFab.com
“Under no circumstances did Good American or Khloe Kardashian infringe on another brand’s intellectual property and we are going through the proper legal channels to handle the situation.”
And while the Koko has remained hush on the accusations, she’s also been ghost in responding to Destiney’s emails. According to Huffington Post, Destiney has reached out several times to the Kardashions via email about the incident with no response. At this point Desintey feels she has no choice but to lawyer up.
So what do you think? Do the bodysuits look similar? Does the purchase of items from DBleudazzle before the launch of the Good American collection seem suspicious? Sound off in the comment section below.
