Juvia’s Place is continuing their reign of pigmentation and bold color for women of color.
If you aren’t familiar with this brand, get familiar. Juvia’s place is the brainchild of Nigeria-born makeup-enthusiast, Chichi Eburu.
Chichi created Juvia’s place only a few short years ago with the intention of creating an eyeshadow brand with colors rich and pigmented enough to show up on dark skin. In the last few years, she’s released palette after palette with GORGEOUS colors that are soft and go on like a dream. Click HERE for my review of the Saharan Palette, Here for my review of the Saharan Blush Palettes, And HERE for my review of the Nubian 1 and 2 Palettes.
Juvia’s Place literally has something for everyone:
After the expansion of the Saharan Series, where the company introduced their first blush palettes (See my review HERE), Chichi has launched a new palette full of more shimmer, color, and of course PIGMENTATION! The Magic Palette seems to continue the Masquerade Series in that it is a larger palette with more unusual shades, not as everyday as their Nubian
The Magic Palette features 16 shades ranging from pinks, blues, greens, oranges, and golds. There are a few transition shades as well, which makes this palette great for a ton of looks. Unlike most palettes with vibrant colors as the focus, Juvia’s Place has consistently made their palettes versatile enough to add to ones collection without feeling as though you’ll almost never use it.
