Ladies, This Is How I’m Getting My Waistline Snatched And You Can, Too! BodyBoss Fitness Guide Style

*This is a sponsored post on behalf of BodyBoss, but all thoughts and opinions are my own*

I haven’t been too keen on my body for the last couple of years. After I had JB (4 years ago), I nursed him for 18 months, lost all of my pregnancy weight and looked and felt great. As he was and is my only child, I thought I had escaped the dreaded post-baby body. I was also pretty active, walking to and from the train station to work 5 days a week.

Fast-forward to today, and things are vastly different. I’m now a full-time entrepreneur, working from home, and eating my way through Cheetos and Hershey’s chocolate pies just because.  I’ve been relatively lucky, as I naturally have a high metabolism, but I’ve still put on some weight, and I generally feel, well, not so great. I’m tired all the time, I’ve been breaking out pretty regularly, and I’m often irritable.

So when the folks over at BodyBoss contacted me to try their 12-week workout plan, the Ultimate Body Fitness Guide. I thought, “why not?” I feel like hell, and my body isn’t quite where I want it to be, so how bad could it be?body boss workout review3

These are a few of my before pictures. I know what some of you are thinking: “what did she have to lose?” But trust me, my main reason for trying this program was to feel better about myself mentally and physically. No matter how “thin” someone may appear, it doesn’t mean this person is healthy or happy. I know I wasn’t.

One thing you have to keep in mind is that I am NOT a workout person. I’ve had a gym membership for years, and I never use it. I’ve tried to cancel it a million and one times, but Andre (my husband) always convinces me to keep it active. Needless to say, I did not have high hopes for my commitment to this working-out process, but I did it!!

I also got the whole family involved. JB doesn’t nap, so Andre and I do the workouts in the evenings when he gets home from work. JB does some of the moves, but mostly he keeps us entertained.  Fun workouts are the best workouts.

Here’s how The Bodyboss Workout Program works:

  • The Bodyboss program is a 12-Week Step-By-Step Fitness Program, comprised of High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) circuits.
  • All of the workouts are laid out in pictures in the workout guide (pictured above.) or in their E-book.  The E-book has gifs to guide you on how to do the exercises correctly. Like so:

  • The program starts you out slowly with a bonus 4-week Pre-Training, so if you haven’t worked out in a while (or ever), you don’t have to worry.

  • The BodyBoss workouts are never more than 24 minutes, 3 times a week.

  • There is tons of stretching and moving the ENTIRE time, but you feel amazing afterwards.body boss workout review1
  • You can order the online version, which gives you instant access, so you can start working out immediately with the online training program. Or you can purchase the bundle which is the online version plus the 200 page booklet (which I highly recommend) body boss workout review5
  • While I did use weights for some of the workouts, they aren’t a requirement, so you can workout anywhere at anytime, no fancy equipment needed.

I’ve lost 6 pounds since starting the program, and I’m super happy with how my body is looking so far. My arms and legs are toned, and my booty is looking mighty fine, too (at least Andre thinks so!) I’m currently on week 8 of the program and going strong. I’m also just feeling happier in general. I’ve made a conscious effort to eat more clean food, drink tons of water, and mentally I just feel more “on the ball” than ever.

  2. Right now I’m into lifting weights. I do it 3x a week and then I make it a point to reach 10k steps every day. Your program made me curious that your workout is never more than 24 minutes. Perfect for every busy mom.
