The pregnant widow of U.S. Army Sgt., La David T. Johnson, spoke out on Good Morning America regarding the controversy surrounding the phone call she received from #45 after her husband’s tragic death in Niger.
The last week has been plagued by Trump’s insistence that U.S. Rep. Frederica Wilson, who was in the car when the call was made, is a liar. Rep. Wilson, who overheard the call and shared publicly that Trump told the LaDavid’s widow, “knew what he signed up for, but when it happens it hurts anyway, ” has refused to back down from her claim. She is a personal friend ofthe family, and has known La David his entire life. Today, La David’s wife is backing her up.

Johnson was laid to rest over the weekend in a private funeral service in which nearly 1,200 mourners gathered to remember the 25-year-old who was killed in an ambush in the West African country.
“President Trump did disrespect my son and my daughter and also me and my husband.”
My condolences to the Wilson family.
