Sometimes the makeup scene can get monotonous. How many different ways can we watch a how-to on eyebrows or another cut crease tutorial? On the flip side, how many of us are also tired of seeing gimmicky tutorials using off-the-wall things like stilettos, mayo, or chicken nuggets in a tutorial? You have to stand out in a way that is both relatable and innovative. Miss Chelsie Worthy (@Wvrthy) has done exactly that. This 24-year old has been changing the game all the way up in the last few months with her Trap Tutorials, or Traptorials.
This Beauty Guru is Killing The Game with Her “Trap Tutorials”
What is a traptorial you ask?
It’s a one-minute Instagram video where she slays her face to trap beats with incredible editing skills. Makeup products fly in and out of frame before they are applied to her face. Beating her beautiful mug to the beat of the music makes these unique tutorials fun, exciting, and quite frankly, VIRAL!
Miss Worthy is more than just a pretty face, she is also a BOBB owner with her own line of highlighters (Shop Wvrthy HERE).
Chelsie has been featured on VH1.com and POPSUGAR as well as being recognized by her beauty world peers such as Jackie Aina, MakeupForMelaninGirls, and CocoSwatches. The beauty world was missing a little something before Worthy introduced this concept. She’s such a refreshing moment in the beauty realm and I’m sure we will see more of her in 2018.
If you’re loving Chelsie’s Traptorials, show your support by following her on Instagram, Twitter, and Youtube. You can purchase her blinding highlighters, in loose pigment form, on Shop Wvrthy (CLICK HERE).
I’m a 30-something, fun loving blogger who enjoys makeup, plus size fashion, and all things girly, glam, and fabulous! I am a naturalista as well as an advocate for paleo eating (AIP). While much of my focus is on beauty, I will be chronicling my weight loss and diet, as well as my natural hair journey. I hope that I can inspire women to give themselves some TLC. Life is so fleeting. We have to remember to take time to enjoy it.
