I Took a Walking Tour In THE Most Comfortable Flats EVER (And They’re Machine Washable!) #GetchuSome

Rothy’s The Point Flat Review
I’ll be the first to admit: I am a homebody. There is something to be said about walking around barefoot or in big fuzzy socks that typically can’t compete with putting on real shoes and leaving the comfort of my home.
So when the folks over at Rothy’s contacted me to try their point flat, I did a quick search of the brand and decided that there were a few good reasons for me to leave my house and give these shoes a try.
- Rothy’s shoes are super cute/stylish
- They are machine washable.
- They are sustainable. They’re made from recycled water bottles!
- Word on the streets is that these are amongst the most comfortable flats on the market.
- They go up to a size 12 (for my a larger foot readers).
I hopped on board to test them out, and did the unthinkable: I left my house.Rothy’s sent me two pairs to try, so I decided to do a walking tour of my favorite part of Boston: The North End/Quincy Market. And since I was feeling adventurous, I even hopped on the Commuter Rail and the T! #bornrebel:
I got off at State Street and walked right over to my favorite haunt, Quincy Market.
While there, I donned Rothy’s The Point Flat in Persimmon [check them out HERE]. Aren’t they the cutest?
Quincy Market is home to all kinds of shops including some of my favorite bakeries and restaurants.
And don’t be surprised if you happen to stumble upon someone eating lobster on the back stairs:
He made me pretty hungry so I stopped for some seafood myself. I ordered some good ole Boston Clam Chowder. All the while not worried in the least about getting my shoes dirty. And, not for nothing, these are some comfortable flats, y’all. I know all the online reviews sing their praises, but you know I’m a born skeptic, so I had to see for myself.
After my snack (yes clam chowder is a snack, cuz your girl can E.A.T.), I changed into Rothy’s Red Camo Flats, and walked a few feet over to my fav makeup store to try some new lippies.
I shopped a bit more, then decided to take a 10-minute walk to The North End for some pizza. Don’t judge me because if you should ever visit Boston, you’ll know that eating is what this city is all about.
So yes, I got my pizza and got my entire life!
Also, would you judge me if I told you I walked back to Quincy Market for some dessert? I’m just saying, you can’t get banana pudding like this just any-ole-where.
All in all, I’m glad I got my rear end up outa the house, and I’m even more glad that these Rothy’s flats did not disappoint. The holidays are literally just a few weeks away (I know), so if I were you I’d grab them HERE now before the holiday rush gets in the way.
Well, comfy and machine washable shoes sound great. The thing I really love about these though, is they are super cute! I am definitely going to check them out 🙂 Thank you for sharing!
Yesss. These are so pretty, and I LOVE that you can wash them in the machine. That makes life so much easier!
Looks like a fun outing! I love those shoes and color! Flats are my favorite go-to because I’m tall.
What cute flats! I am a total flats person. I would love to try these, and I love that they come in such bright colors! And the walking tour was a super fun way to showcase the shoes!
That is awesome! They look comfy and very stylish too!
They look fab, love the jeans too!
They look so comfortable! It can be so hard to find the right pair of flats that fit well and are comfortable enough to spend a whole day walking in them. I will definitely check out the brand.
Oh my goodness these sound amazing! Bonus that they are cute too! I love flats… Thank you for sharing 🙂
Oh I love them and how fabulous that they are machine washable too. The color is so pretty…these flats go with anything!
I have heard great things about these shoes! I’m glad to hear that they are comfortable for you!
Having comfortable shoes can make the experience so much more enjoyable. Nothing is worse than getting halfway through your plans and having your feet ache unbearably.
those do look comfy. i love your yellow top btw!
Looking at those shoes I would have never imagined them for being comfy, but hey, I’m all for it, especially since they are cute and come in multiple colors. If it’s one thing i’m a sucker for, that’s comfortable shoes. They look good on you.
I love these shoes it so pretty and it looks really comfortable to wear. I will definitely get one for me.
I loved these flats on your Instagram! So interesting to read more about them and love that they’re machine washable!
These flats look awesome! I only wear flats, because I can no longer walk in heels since my accident. However, you wouldn’t believe how difficult it is to find stylish AND comfortable flats! For some reason, comfy shoes are doomed to be ugly and pretty shoes are frequently unbearable!
Don’t come here. We are stationed in Manhattan Kansas and it sucks. But the last place we lived was Austin and there are tons of things to see there. My favorite walking tour cities are in Spain, France, and Italy.
They look sooo beautiful! About being a homebody… wow, that’s the first time I’ve heard this expression. Can you say you’re a homebody if you spend all days in your P.J.’s too? 😉
Wow that looks like such a fun filled day! I’m still hung up on the fact those flats are made from recycled water bottles AND are machine washable. And on top of that cute and comfortable! Amazing!
