Step 1:

The first thing I did was wash my hair using the Twisted Sista luxurious clarifying shampoo. This shampoo will make sure there’s no residue on the hair since I will be applying heat to my stands.  Be sure to really massage your scalp all the way down the strand.

Step 2:

The next thing you’re going to use is Innate Instant Hydrating Conditioner. This conditioner hydrates and softens your hair as well as helps to detangle it. As you can see in the video I had no problems detangling my hair. And that shine! In addition, this conditioner can also be used as a leave-in as a curl styler for all-day volume and bounce.

Step 3:

After washing and detangling your hair, I applied Innate Anti-Frizz Straightening Creme. I separated my hair into sections and applied about three pumps full to each section. I use this method to apply styling creme because it ensures the product is evenly distributed. And I’ll bobby pin it into place just to keep the sections separated.

Step 4:

Next, I’m going to blow dry my hair using This Blow Dryer. This will help stretch the hair and keep it sleek. Do NOT straighten hair though – this a textured blow dry. When you’re ready to blow dry your hair you should start in the back. Undo each section at a time and when one section is completely blown out pin it up and move on to the next until you’re all done. Then you can take out all the sections and run the blowdryer through just to make sure you didn’t miss any wet spots.

Step 5:

Now for the moment, you’re all here for, break out the Mini Tourmaline ceramic curling wand (3/4 19mm). Before you get started spray Innate Fix and Hold mist to a small section of hair. Don’t be afraid. Spray it on but the key is to use a liberal amount. Don’t saturate your strands. Then get the curling wand, which should be nice and hot, pointing the wand downward wrap the hair around it. You’re going to hold the hair there for 1-3 seconds before releasing the hair. Do not hold it for too long as you don’t want to make your hair hard or burn it. This is about making big fluffy curls. Repeat this step until your whole head is complete.

*Extra tip: Before I wrapped my hair around the wand I quickly ran the wand down the section of hair. This adds to the smoothness. You don’t have to do this but I HIGHLY recommend that you do.

There you have it, a head full of big bouncy curls. Now you can either just style your hair as is or you can gently separate the curls for an even fuller look. It’s up to you!
